Quick and Easy Beauty for Busy People

Ever have those mornings where you just want to lay in bed for another 5minutes, and then another 5minutes, and then you realize you only have 20minutes left before you need to leave for work?!

If you're not that person, well congratulations to you, I bet you also prepare a well balanced meal for work, and limit yourself to one carbohydrate a day. (I apologize for that tangent for I am still waiting for the day where I can discipline myself).

Well if you ever catch yourself needing that extra 5-20 more minutes of sleep, or really just convincing yourself on why it's okay to stay in bed for another 5minutes, here is a quick and easy guide on getting ready in a hurry.

It's the morning and you really don't have the energy nor the time to go through your whole skincare routine, especially when you know you did a vigorous job the night before, with the exfoliating, face mask, and the whole sha-bang. So as long as you didn't fall asleep on your left over pizza, I'll give you the green light for skipping your morning skincare routine. So here is a complete list on getting ready in a hurry and still managing to look fabulous.

  • Ole Henricksen The Clean Truth Cleansing Cloths, A good substitute for your face wash that helps to brighten and provide Vitamin C. Don't need to worry about getting your face wet.
  • Ole Henricksen Truth Serum Collagen Booster, No matter how late I am, I can't leave the house without applying this liquid gold to my face. It just makes my face feel fresh and lets your skin glow.
  • The Porefessional by Benefit, this is a great primer, especially if you want to diminish your pores and can be applied with just your finger tips.
  • Clinique CC Cream, This is one of my favorite CC or BB creams, especially when you need a product that can pretty much do it all. When you're in a hurry you can depend on this product to do it all. The CC cream provides full coverage, moisture, and an SPF 30. No matter how much you're in a hurry always apply your SPF.
  • Trish McEvoy 24- hour Eyeshadow in Topaz, I am all about eye shadows that come in a stick, I find it so much easier to apply and you don't need to worry about adding 3 different shades to achieve your smoky look or natural look. This product is great, you don't necessary need a primer since it's so pigment on it's own and is easy to blend out even with your finger tips.
  • Benefit Ooh la Lift , This a great under eye cream that brightens your eyes instantly, so even though you are still struggling on getting to work on time, your eyes will look bright and you will appear to be perkier.
  • Maybelline The Falsies Volume Express, This is one of my favorite drugstore mascaras, it gives you the length and volume and I prefer the waterproof version, since it holds my curl longer and I never have to worry about smudging, especially when I'm in a rush.
  • Laura Mercier Creme Cheek Color in Blaze, This cream blush is perfect for the fall time and is easy to apply with your blush brush and gives you a natural flush look, you might achieve the flush look on your own by trying to get to work on time.
  • Laura Mercier Rouge Nouveau in Malt, This is a great matte nude lip color, which helps tie in your whole look together. I find this color great for the office or if you're going for the whole Kylie Jenner look, since it does give you the effect of voluminous lips.
  • Bite Pigment Pencil in Rhubarb, If you're in a need for some color but not trying to go for the whole red lipstick look, try a color like Rhubarb from Bite. This is definitely one of my favorite go-to lipsticks. The product is an amazing matte color that is creamy and moisturizing for your lips. The color Rhubarb is a perfect balance of nude and plum that goes elegantly with any outfits.
So next the time you decide to hit the snooze button, remember you can easily look as fabulous in a hurry.
